Company History
LAT was founded in 1969, with its first ever headquaters in Berlin Schöneberg. After signing its first major contract with the Deutsche Bundespost (German Federal Post Office) the company prospered and it became obvious that the small office on the Nollendorfplatz would no longer be suitable for the flourishing LAT.

As the company grew the search for more adequate premises began.  In 1973, after a short stopover at the Oehlertring in Berlin Steglitz and on the Fürstenplatz in Berlin West-End LAT finally established its head office at the Goetelstrasse in Berlin Spandau.

In 1993 well renowned architects Hell & Hell were given the task of designing the new LAT headquarters.  It was essential that the company’s core visions and values were embodied within this new design, ultimately showing testament to LAT’s progression and its strong reputation within the industry - a milestone in the company’s history.

LAT, and its people, has always prided itself on the consistent high quality, ever punctual and above all flexibility of its work.  Through this and the growing reputation of the company the quantity of orders rose quickly. LAT’s business profile ranges from underground cable engineering to technical cable laying.  This was further expanded in 1979 when the project group Streken and Gleisbau GmbH was launched as a separate company overlooking route and rail track construction.

Today, thanks to our modern machinery, motivated staff and flexible management we are a competent and successful multitask enterprise.
